Hello farmers. We have more new snow and of course it came with wind so our driveway is drifted full again. Our neighbor will plow for us as soon as he is through feeding his sheep and cattle. My sister says they are having problems with elk getting into their haystack. They plowed a long strip in their field so they could feed the cattle without getting stuck, they need to plow another one but there is too much snow to do it. Here it was a bit of a challenge getting around this morning through drifts in the road to the pasture. Before we went out to feed I watched a badger wandering around between his holes in the pasture, he wasn't in a hurry. Later today I need to fill the water tank for the horses, I had a hose I thought was drained but it had ice in it so it is in the shop thawing. The sun was out pretty and bright when we were out this morning, the wind has stopped and sky is blue with puffy white clouds. I hope all of you have a great day, remember to count your blessings.
