Sung to the tune of,"I'll be pollinating in time for opening Christmas presents. Culebra x Rosabell, Citronella x Culebra, Butterfly x Culebra. First name being the seed bearer and last name being the pollen donor. Crosses picked- on Christmas day...Double white x Insignis pink, Butterfly x Rosabell. I think I must make a few more lbs of Butterfly x Rosabell though to be sure...I just can't stand not to. Anyone know where to get those nice twisty ties in varying colors? By the roll? I know walmart often carries twistie ties by the roll in green, but I was thinking of Blues, reds, Golden, silver, whites, Blacks, etc....
Brugmansia crosses done on the 25th of Dec-
i'll look in the dollar store for those ties, hey, you have more mail.
what nice crosses...... I need tips on trying to cross culebra with shredded white..... maybe i can figure it out though.....
I think I have some good Culebra pollen left. Culebra x Shredded white, Culebra x Double Orange...all sound like extremely good crosses.
i am going out now to check for pollen, if i find pollen on one will put it on the other..... wish i had HG in bloom....
One of My HG just finished blooming. Very beautiful. I will say she is a bit more difficult than Candida species to pollinate, but well worth the effort I am sure. Good hint with the Culebra-run your fingernail along the anthers to open them up. You'll find the pollen inside them in most cases.
NOW YOU TELL ME... well i guess you did tell me that before......didn't you.
