Is this JO?

The one on the left could be JO. The right one is Frosty pink. I'm trying to ID the left. I'll post a pic of flower close up.

Deanne, i have CG, JO and DrS in my yard and i can't tell the difference, all in all, sometimes the flowers are a little different size on each plant anyway, and the colors will change a little with them sometimes depending on weather...

monika the hybridizer with the beautiful brugs in europe says CG and JO are the same thing, another site said dr seuss was one of CG's parents and i am not sure why they bothered with CG or JO.....they are both so much like DrS........

whatever it is, i sure wouldn't bother to get the other 2 of the above mentioned three....

there is another one that looks very similar, can't think of the name.

short answer: it looks like my JO, CG and DrS....

Arlene,
another one I agree with you on.

One valid reason for having those 3-all 3 are merfacht hybrids-aurea x suaveolens x versicolor. Its thought that the more mixed up the parenatage is the easier it is to cross them to something a bit more distantly related like an arborea or sanguinea. So, for breeding purposes...CG x DR Sues crossed to Solid Gold and then one could try crossing to arborea...so much is still unknown with the Brugmansia though and I expect Brugmansia hybrids to come start rapidly progressing towards some beautiful unknowns...just as the old antique roses or daylillies have come along....

antique roses are antique because they are so hardy, and easy to root!!!!

Ouch, I thought they were antique because they were older hybrids. See, I never fail to learn something on this wonderful site. All I grow is the tea roses...actually, my wife grows them. For some reason she likes roses more than Brugmansia...can you believe that?!!

Brugman: My husband has over 250 roses, he likes them better than brugs because they are "hardy" and don't need to come into the greenhouse. He does like the brugs too. He's quite partial to the insignis gold that is blooming now. Came from you to Liz to me in August as a cutting. It's covered in flowers now. Pretty quick bloomer.
