hoping all brug friends are happy, content and have a great Christmas with their family and friends.
duct tape seed pods?
Merry Christmas Arlene!!! welcome to winter!! LOL! Only you would think of duct taping the seed pods, but it's a great!! idea. You have fresh tomatoes for Christmas?????
Hope Santa is good to you, as good as you've been to us. Gee, that means you ought to rack up! Hope your day is filled with love, joy and peace.
Flannel sheets spread over my plants would have prevented all the leaf damage I have right now. As for 28...one could try sheets, but what about those water tomato cages? I have never really thought of taping the seed pods together, but I will be making a few new seedpods on my Culebra this week. Culebra x Citronella and Culebra x Butterfly.
Merry Christmas everyone,
Brugmansia
Arlene, I wish your warm weather could have gone on forever so you could have enjoyed your plants all winter.:(
Hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas.
Arlene, pull a couple out to see if they germinate.THEN tape it back together.
How about sealing it back with grafting wax? I agree with CC, pull a couple out to see if they germinate!! Oh now you've given me an idea, I may go cut my pods open just to see. I've been telling my self to leave them alone till I get back from my little trip. Maybe a few days away from the brugs will do me good!!
Arlene, I've had my brugs come thru a frost here with cover on them. Use paper or cloth, not plastic though. Do you have a few extra blankets you could throw over them?
cala, been accumulating flannel sheets...will hit the best.
Flannel sheets in Florida???
don't laugh you should see the people walking around in ski jackets....lol
