My penduncle is yellow

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Woooooooo Hoooooooo My penduncle thingy is yellow and so is the pod!!! Should I pick it now or wait till Monday??? (I'm leaving Wednesday)
I'm so excited I just can't hide it. I'm about to lose control.........sorry, singing off key again.
It's my very first pod, it's better than when my cat had kittens!!

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Yeah for the yellow penduncle!! LOLLOL!! Congrats cala! I hope you get some awesome hybrids from your crosses. You deserve it!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

ya know,if the guys at work saw the heading of this post....well ,let me stress,I'm pretty sure they don't know what a penducle is but they'd sure make some rude guesses as to what a yellow one is

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

LOL!!!! was trying to come up with a 'smart' remark myself, but I'm slow at that kind of thing.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I was ready to put a remark in until I came to CC post and now I don't have to. Great work Susie. Can't wait to see what some of your seeds produce.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I knew there was a smart alec in the bunch!! I read the title after I posted it and thought, my goodness, what have I gone and said now??
This pod is on a JO and it's a week or so younger than the two biggest ones I brought in on a cutting. It's not as big as the other ones, but I can feel seeds inside it. I will pick it in the morning (it's dark and cold now, and I had to go to a friends house for Christmas exchange and we also took some of our left over poinsettias to the nursing home). I will take a picture of it when I pick it and when I open it. TiG and CC do you want some of the seeds?
The penduncles on the other two biggest ones are starting to change color slightly.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd love a few. thank you!

Franktown, CO(Zone 5a)

Congrats! How long did you have to wait? Can you remember?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Yup,I'd love some!!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Deanne
I know the pod was on there in October when I brought it into the green house. I've been looking thru my pictures to see when it first appeared and I'm thinking last of August first of September.
I will have lots more seeds in a few weeks (months?) as soon as they get ripe. Of course I will share.

(Zone 6a)

Great going Calalily! Congratulations.
My penduncle looks to be more wilted than yellow....may never have seeds:) LOL

Owen

PS: Not gonna take a pic and post it though:)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Santa made a list and checked it twice
He found out you weren't very nice
So listen up here's the scoop
He filled your stocking with reindeer poop!!!!!
Y'all better be nice and quit making fun of my penduncle or I'm telling Santa!!

LOL............poor kitty and her adorable babies; the penduncle comes first:) Is there such a thing as a pendaunt? haha

FSH, TX

It is most certainly past time to pick that seedpod-but if the truth be known...I just picked a Candida pink x aurea white seedpod with only 28 seeds that was completly dried up....Double white seedpods still hanging in there as well.
