Okay so we are going to have a white Christmas and it can stop snowing now. It was full fledged blizzarding when I did chores this a.m. Snow was blowing so hard, it hurt my face. It looks like it has let up now. I hope so. We have about 2 inches and that's enough to contend with. I did sleep a little later this morning and Marge, the heifer, woke me up as she was hungry and bellaring quite loudly. I am not happy with one of our cats. As I was walking below the hay loft opening, a cat decided to gag up a fur ball and the gunk landed on my head. I hear you all laughing - not funny!

Yesterday was my "honey do" list. I left for Lincoln at 10:30 and didn't get home till 4:00. I was suppposed to take dd's Explorer to have the front end alligned. That was a waste of time as they decided to wait to do the allignment since more work needs to be done (bushings, etc.). Shortly after I dropped off the car, 5 police cars raced past. As I was leaving, I noticed the street was blocked off about four blocks up the street. Later heard on the news that a man was murdered in that area about the time I drove into the allignment shop. Kind of gave me the shivers!

Yes Kathleen - a fraternity sponsors the show. They are crazy and those who compete in this show are crazier - crazy boys and crazy men and their crazy kids! You would be assured there are no women involved in the planning of this show. Grumble! Grumble! The only think nice about it is, I can get a lot of Christmas stuff done since I'm here by myself.

Well I need to go. I too have a bazillion things to do. I probably need to go break the ice on the cattle waterer. (I am trying not to think nasty thoughts about the man who wouldn't let us rent his electricity as we have a nice water heater.)

Have a good day and for those of you in the path of this nasty storm - stay safe!
