A couple months ago I asked for advice on a new dog. I did lots of research and really fell in love with border terriers. Only one problem: wow are they $$$$.
So I went to pedfinder.com and TODAY our precious little rescued baby is coming home. She's all black, low to the ground, mostly dachshund, I think. You can see her for yourself at www.rap.petfinder.org. Click on their pet list and scroll down to Violet. Her new name will be Adela because our neighbor 2 doors down is named Violet and we don't want either one of them to get confused. ;-}
We're soooooo excited. Oh, and I can't say enough about the wonderful people who volunteer to rescue and shelter and find homes for these animals. Support your local shelter or rescue group!
