watersob/agrosoke
I want to know, if you use this, how do you know when to water??? how often do you water??
That sounds a bit high for crystals in such large quantities. Was sure someone had posted an alternate source at more affordable prices. Thanks though. We will work something out as always. Can't wait to get rid of all these trees. Lol, really-my main concern is getting enough agrosoke type crystals so that I don't have to water my aurea's and doubles next summer. Think it'll happen?
I have a bed of Brugmansia planted outside with about 1lb of agrosoke worked into the soil before I planted them. All I can say is agrosoke is the only way to go with Brugmansia in the summer..especially with the drought we have been having. Adding plenty of peat helps as well though. I have rooted Brugmansia in pure peat before.

Brugman, if you look at their site, i think they make them, well anyway they listed all the names they are called including agrosoke....
guess i'll try to find an acount to send mail til i get this thing fixed.....
Eric, most of my best growing brugs have been in 1/2 peat and 1/2 topsoil. Now I'm using a pretty expensive mix that's mostly peat. Don't you think this leads to them liking an acidic soil? we asked before and no one has ever answered that I've seen.
All I can say is this-rooting a Brug in pure peat can be done very easily. Growing an already rooted Brugmansia in pure peat is easy as well. Having it aerated seems to work a bit better though so adding perlite at 50% seems to work a bit better. I have grown Brugmansia in pure tilled sand though as well. I think Brugmansia just like to grow. Just give em half a chance and get them past the intial stage of root or rot...
Arlene-Just be at the local drop off for illegal plants by 5:30 and be packin as I saw some helicopters earlier.
brumgan ROFLMAO i'll bring my brother or DH, they both have have permits.......
naw, i'll be there.....
tig and brugman, i have decided that brugs probably like acid soil, and that is one reason they crave fertilizer.
the watersorb says it will cut watering by half, also it increases life of fertilizer ... i guess by holding it close to roots longer.
i am going to buy me some, where is cala???? brugman, look at the page and let me know what you think, i can get mail, just think i am sending mail and it doesn't go through...
Y'all are to much. LOL
Arelene-did you say you were bringing the chainsaw or a hacksaw of some kind. Better bring an extra one if you have one to help. I just have the one hacksaw and its a bit dull.
