It's what all the hard work comes down to. After planting the crops in the spring and caring for them all summer long,it's time for the payment. This past Saturday the Michigan Sugar Beet Growers Inc. reported that the checks (totaling $54+ million)are in the mail! The first-ever sugar beet payment from this newly formed Co-op. And its all LOCAL.
