Purchased a pear tree from my local garden center a number of years ago. For the past four years it has been producing pears. The tag stated that it was a Bartlett pear tree. The fruit does not look like Bartlett nor does it taste like it. It has a very mild taste and the flesh is always firm/crispy. I’m thinking it’s an Asian pear but the shape does not match the ones I’ve seen in catalogs. The garden center has since closed so I can’t ask them. Trying to identify this. Thanks.
FYI: The tree is grown in zone 4 and has survived -30°F weather.
