Does anyone have any applemint?

Can they be grown from seeds or do I need to be looking for cuttings?

From what I understand, you'd be better off getting cuttings. I have applemint, but it's planted only a few feet from my catnip, spearmint, and other mints. I've only recently learned that some of the mints will mix, and if you try to reproduce from seeds, you won't get the true plant. I don't have any applemint seeds right now, but will next summer if you can wait til then. I could also send you cuttings this spring if you'd like, but then again....I'm not sure if the applemint could have crossed with some of my other mints or not.

Scarlett: I would look for cuttings or a rooted plant. Seeds of mint usually will not come true from seed.. I have applemint, if it made it through the winter, is still too early here, it is not up yet.
