Butterfly Garden and ongoing termite treatment

I am thinking about putting in a butterfly garden along the south wall of my house.
However I annually treat an area from the foundation out about a foot with a product to deter termites. This product contains Permethrin. The treatment involves sprinkling the product directly onto the dirt and then watering it in.

Would this product find it's way into the plants in the vicinity and make them unsafe for butterflies?
