St. augustine, FL(Zone 9a)

Already gave away all the extra devil's claw seeds I had this year, but you may want to check back with me next year. I will be growing louisianica, marynia proboscidea and proboscidea parviflora "Hohokamiana". Originally I got them for using the claws in basketmaking but the variety I got last year was the marynia proboscidea and the claws are not big enough. Bought some Hohokamiana this year to try for basket making (the claw are supose to be 15 inches long and is the preferred variety by American Indian basketmakers!) and got the louisianica from a cheap seed source this year. I hear that besides being an ornamental plant the pods and seeds can be eaten and some people make the claws into birds. What do you do with the plants, seeds and or pods?
