Anyone know what is eating these bell pepper leaves? Souttheast TX area.

Based on the appearance of the holes in the bell pepper leaves, the most likely culprits are caterpillars or slugs which are known to create large, irregular holes by eating through the leaf tissue; however, to be sure, carefully check the underside of the leaves at night for any signs of these pests
