This morning, I found these on a blade of a grassy weed; maybe hairy crabgrass. The length of the rows is shorter than a dime. I wish I would have thought to put something next to it to show size comparison.
They were kind of tube-like instead of round balls or oval shaped; maybe 1/16 of an inch tall and seemed shiny. I know it sounds crazy, but my first thought was that they looked like little ruby colored jewels.
I looked up stink bug and assassin bug eggs, but couldn’t tell if they were either.
Any help will be appreciated.

Insect eggs?
Eggs are of a true bug (order Hemiptera), most likely a stink bug (family Pentatomidae). I suggest that you place the section of grass with the eggs in a clear container where you can see what emerges from them.
Thank you!!! You are a wealth of information.
