Greenhouse construction

Baldwin City, KS

I am planning on building a 7x14 greenhouse and with lumber prices what they are; I am considering using 2x3 boards for the frame instead of 3x4 and anchoring the corners with ground anchors. Any thoughts?

I used steel piping from Jiggly and have liked it.

I did originally use a wood from for my small deck seeding greenhouse and then again for small bed cover greenhouses and 2x3 worked just fine for us. Just watch out for warping on them and make sure the ground stakes are used plentiful

My wood on my greenhouse is holding up well, but my old chicken run is not faring as well, of course it is older and the framing is exposed to the elements. Reading this thread looking at how I might want to redo the run. The coop itself has a good solid frame protected by its cover boards.

I think its is good to have green house according to your desired...
