Hello, everyone!
Found a deal on some VERY thick commercial insulated glass that was cut incorrectly for a commercial project. It is 1 1/18" thick, but it does have some sort of UV coating on it. I'm curious if the UV coating would make it a bad choice to be used in a greenhouse structure (for obvious reasons). Any advice would be appreciated!
Insulated UV treated Glass?
I have a solarium with two stories of UV glass window walls and skylights and a greenhouse with polycarbonate walls and roof. I grow mostly finicky species orchids in both as well as standard houseplants in the solarium and notice no difference. The UV coating will help protect equipment such as plastic pots or watering lines in the greenhouse too.
