Hi all - hoping for some help identifying this spider. Picture was taken this past weekend in a (recently updated but generally quite old) house in rural midcoast Maine. It bit me unfortunately and produced a pretty gnarly reaction. That’s all handled but just wondering what it was. Thanks!!
Spider ID help?
It's a funnel weaver in the family Agelenidae. If the legs are lack any markings, it likely is Eratigena atrica. If some faint banding can be seen, it most likely is Tegenaria domestica. Neither species is regarded as having a medically significant bite, but reaction to their venom can vary considerably among different individuals.
