16 ounces fresh mushrooms
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1(6- ounces) package herb- seasoing stuffing mix
1(10 ounces) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
1 cup shredder mozzarella chesse
Clean the mushroom and remove the stems, Set the mushroom caps inside. Chop the stems finely, Saute the stems in 1 tablespoons butter in a small skillet until tender. Prepare the stuffing according to the package directions. Stir in the mushrooms stems and cream of mushroom soup.
Dip the mushroom caps in 1/2 cup melted butter in a bowl and arrange in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Stuff the mushrooms with prepared stuffing mushrooms. bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until steaming and lightly browned.
