My hobby is growing and breeding zinnias. You don't think of zinnias as houseplants, but I grow them indoors as well as outdoors. For indoors I do provide them with fluorescent lighting. I particularly enjoy being able to cross-pollinate my zinnias indoors when there is snow on the ground. By making crosses between my home-hybridized zinnias, I have been able to get some new flower forms in zinnias.
