Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Mary I found some blubs I didn't get planted too.I was just going to keep them and put them out next year. Will that work?

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

You should be able to store them as long as they are in a ventilated package. Keep them away from heat.

Or, possibly trade them with someone in a warmer climate.

Do they need a cold period to bloom? Could I put them in pots and leave the pots outside so they would think they are in the ground in the winter, and maybe they would grow and bloom that way??? I don't want to wait till next year.

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

Store them in the fridge for awahile then pot them up and start them in the house.

Paul would it still be to late to plant them here I am in zone 6 if we have a pretty weekend where I can get them planted? (I have Tulips and Daffs bulbs)

Humansville, MO(Zone 6a)

Mystic I'M right on the five six line and i've planted them at anytime the ground was thawed if you would get them in anytime now they should be fine and bloom I put some in last spring that i didn't think would live this would have been late feb or earily march they not only lived they bloomed i planted may winter peas same time

Lorain, OH(Zone 5b)

I put them in pots, w/some bone meal mixed in the soil, then I put them in the crisper drawer of the fridge, all the bulbs mentioned above need at least 55 days of chilling to force a bloom. Much less expensive than buying pre-chilled bulbs and when they bloom in the house, it really lifts the winter blahs. Or just plant them outside when you get a thaw, Ive done this many times and they bloomed fine. (Zone 5)
