Is it a new virus?

Anybody heard about this?
I keep getting e-mails titled "yellow cake mix." And from someone I don't know named Wallace. It started on Saturday afternoon. They come in three at a time and are all dated Saturday at 2:58pm. They are coming every hour or less. They have attachments and my virus scan doesn't find anything. I have my filters on to delete them and it puts them in the trash which I empty right away. My BF took me out to dinner last night and had 20 of them when I got home. And I had 27 of them when I got up this morning. I have had at least 75 of them altogether.
I use McAfee scan.
