Opinions on cactus

Hey friends,
I'm very much interested in indoor plants, which adds the aesthetic value of our home. But recently when I bought a new red moon cactus, one of my friend suggested that it is not good to keep cactus plants as it has negative energy.
Friends, is it true? Do you believe in this? What is your opinion on this?
