I believe this is an egg of some sort. However, I am in no way a professional or even a hobbyist. I have a total of 2 plants. Anyway, can someone please tell me if I need to be concerned about these? They are all in the soil for my houseplants.
What are these in my houseplants?
Looks like slow release fertilizer.

Thank you. I used Miracle Grow Moisture control soil. The kind that moderates how much water you give so you don't over water them. I was hoping that's what it was.
I use the regular MG potting mix. Occasionally I will buy the moisture control for thirstier plants.
