Should we put in lawn?

Hi all, we have a large retaining wall section in our pool area that has 3 palm trees. We have started to strip it out and are now thinking about putting in lawn? We are gonna have the middle palm tree removed as they are too close together, but do you think lawn would work around them?
I am eager to create more space in our pool area as it’s very tight and there’s nowhere to lounge around or relax.
Am open to ideas! Thanks!
