Banded Argiope, Banded Garden Spider, Banded Orb-weaving Spider (Argiope trifasciata)
Exchange of greetings between relatives?
On the door of my car I met a female Argiope bruennichi (unfortunately missing a leg) while some time ago I had met another one photographed below.
The female is much larger than the male.
During my research I found a photo showing a specimen of Batozonellus lacerticida, which is the specific predator Pompilidae of Argiope, in action which I find interesting.
I also found one of a male A. Bruennichi in predatory action.
