I’m new to pruning and am a hobbyist gardener.
So here’s my question, this is my lavender that I planted several years ago. About two yrs ago, I trimmed it to the woody area. Well it’s really happy and huge. I’ve been researched pruning/dividing it. So things I’ve found say prune once a year some some prune twice a year. When is the ideal time? And how much should I cut? Should I just take a cutting and plant in spots where I want it to grow? I’m in zone 6 Goshen NY.
