Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Greetings ~

Sun is up and bright and warm looking - but the wind is howling and the temps will stay below 50* here by the San Francisco Bay. The San Joaquin will probably get a touch warmer, but not much. Winter is here! Rain last night and some black ice this morning. Cars skidded out and accidents on all the freeways. Everyone, drive safe. Be late if you have to, but get where you're going alive!

Aced my final yesterday! I am a free woman until the middle of January where I take the next class in the series. Heh, heh, some day I may even know how to do this programming thing. Got a A on my final project and so I eeked out the A- in the class overall. Whew!

Fields are greening up, and the winter calves are totally enjoying it. Wind, rain, mud - they seem to take it all in stride. They munch their cud and watch us crazy commuters drive by in the pre-dawn chill. More cows getting fat in another field near by - babies to come soon - maybe Christmas deliveries?

Take care, everyone!

Karla
