This shows all stages of the pods. OH, and an orchid!! See how the calyx splits as the seed pod grows? I went ahead today and split all the calyxes on all the seed pods. I found some moisture drops inside, but no bugs. I did find one tiny brown snail in one. I hate those things and try to keep finely ground diatomaceous earth sprinkled around to kill them. Today was damp and rainy, the slugs and snails were out in force. I was spritzing them with the DE and stepping on them.
