I started with a 3" potted plant at the 2002 home and garden show at the Cow Palace. It takes our cold..just hates the rains and 2 or 3 times the roots rotted ..but it rerooted once summer got going. No rot.
This plant flowers. You can see some buds. Flowers for me only last a day or so. Fast fade!

Nice! I just picked up a 3” plant. Looks like they can do well here. I lost a lot of pachypodium due to ignorance 7 or 8 years ago and am summoning the courage to try again. Year round outdoor growing in the Bay Area is my kind of pachyform.
