yes Tonny it is my frist. I was afraid it was just wishful thinking. this is a cross of a double white candida and a versicolor peach I guess the peach is the mommy plant for the one and only white didn't take.here's keeping the fingers crossed

Did I understand what Eric said correctly?That the babies from a double x single cross would all be singles ,and that the babies ,crossed back to a double would be some doubles and some singles?Or can you get doubles from a single cross?

Irish, sure looks like a pod. Congrats!! CC, I too would like to know about the double/single cross. Is the double trait a recessive gene? If it is, it would take a second cross to make a double.

Thanks all . I do belive that you have to cross again to get the double. I am sure it is possible to get a double the frist time but also think that the odds of winning the lotto would be better.

bummer, pete. i actually saw a bloom/hopeful bud fall off culebra, that was a bummer too. am hopeful.

So sorry Pete, my x knightii crossed to Sanguinea, well that pod fell off too. Actually DH knocked it off by mistake. Oh well. There's more buds so we all have to just keep trying.

Brugcrazy, is he out of the doghouse yet?

Cala, ya he's out of the doghouse. He didn't stay in very long as I have 2 dogs (large) and he does all the cleaning up. What can I say? LOL Don't want that job.
