Susie,

So glad to see you in person.......I had you pictured as a small blonde and guess I was right.....Fat??? You don't know the meaning fo the word. You are just a little, young thing. Your plants look great too. Okay, now we need to work on some of the others to get their pics on here. Thanks for posting.

Cala, is this the pic you took when you cut your hair? i love that nicotania. and you aren't fat...

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes, it's the same one. It's the most recent one I have. I was so tempted to post one from 20 years ago, when I was really skinny. I may do it anyhow.
Okay, this didn't hurt a bit, the rest of you need to post your photos.

Calalily - Its so nice to meet you in person and also to see the place where you live. You`re looking great. Is it juice there on the table, where you seems to be pottig? I get thirsty by the thought. I am impressed by the large plants in your background. What are these? :)

Wow Cala, I live in zone 7 and sure don't have anything like I see in your picture. Nice picture and glad to meet you in person. Like Brugie said, you don't know the meaning of fat. A 20 year old picture? Now that's a thought. P.

Tonny
The liquid is citronella oil for the Tiki torches. The black tub is for my potting soil, it's from the hardware store, a concrete mixing tub. The huge plants near the house and behind me are: banana, abutilon, elephant ear, brugmansia and gingers. The dark leaved plants in the background are coleus.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I am afraid (if you think you are fat) to post my pic. I am the little dough girl. Beautiful plants.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm convinced every woman in the world thinks she's fat!! so no more talk of it!!

Calla,
Nice picture...I'll print this one and add to my collection....

Great picture Calla. Love your garden.

At first I didn`t note what you also wrote. You neither looks fat or pregnant :) You looks nice, Calalily and I wouldn`t mind been seen with you in my hometown. Lene would, off cause, but thats another story *lol*

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tonny, you are so funny!! My DH might object too!! Y'all are so nice. I have put on so much weight this summer. We have good help at the green house and I'm not working so hard, but still eating like I am!!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Nice photo. Still scared to post mine.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Come on, everyone.

Beauty is on the inside and with luck on the outside. Whatever will be will be. If you are happy with yourself as a person and enjoy your life with your families and everyone and everything around you, then a picture is just that, a picture. Took me a while to get past all of this and post my picture, but once it was done, I found it did not create any pain. Just nice comments from people who I like having around me. Try posting a picture of yourself and I'll be you won't find one person who will post an unkind word. That all said, I'm ready to get back to growing brugs. :-) Geez, did that sound a little preachy?
Sorry.......

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

This is funny, we took more pictures at the green house and I was downloading them. I saw one of me and said "I take terrible pictures" My DH asked why and said he thought it was a very good picture. I said "thats why it's terrible, it looks like me" and he said "that's why I like the photo, it looks just like you." Sure did make me feel good.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

what a sweetie you have there Cala!!!

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

How I wish I could take a picture that looked that sweet and pretty! But when I look at the ones taken many years ago, I wish I had known how good they would look all this time later, maybe I would have allowed more to be taken. When I became sick and it appeared I would almost certainly die, my poor children were all thinking how they wished they hadn't honored my wishes to avoid the camera just because I am not photogenic. So I went the opposite extreme and let them take all they wanted, including when I looked gaunt and terminal and bald headed. It's all in your perspective, but I think you look lovely. I bet you DH adores you.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

NICE to meet ya.. Know I know who I got BRUGS cutting from! SMILE

Longview, TX

Susie.....great pic. That nicotania is pretty... You are a nice looking lady, and I love your flowers I see in the pic. Your picture suits you.... :-)

Woodstock, ON(Zone 6B)

Nice to see you CAlalily - sorry I missed you personally, but this is just as good. I would consider myself to be about your size and I'm not fat so neither are you. You know, you talk about short hair. I had long hair for over 30 years which I put in a bun everyday. Took me over a year to decide to cut it short (about your length) and I will never let it grow long again.
/Regards Annie

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Annie
I was like that. My hair was below my waist and I kept it in a bun. I did get a foot or so cut off, but still kept it tied up. I finally took the "plunge" and I will keep it short, I love it. I figured if I had to tie it up to keep it off my neck and out of my face, I might as well cut it off.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Calla - great picture, and nice to meet you.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Pebble
Yes the nicotiana is extremely fragrant. I have LOTS of seeds and will send you some. Does anybody else want some of these nicotiana seeds? email me if you do.
Around the patio I had brugmansia, butterfly ginger, confederate jasmine and the nicotiana. It was almost too much, especially in the evenings.

FSH, TX

I love the smell of Jasmine at night. Just a few Jasmines around my Brugmansia though.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)
