These pods are on the Ecuador Pink, they have really grown.
looks like giant okra
cool looking seeds.. i only have one plant with that kind of seeds on it.
Do all the versicolors have pods like this? (guess this is a question for Eric)
that is what eric told me. aureas are kind of small, egg shaped kinda round. pods on my suavolens white are shorter and fat, seed to get fatter at the bottom. jean pasco is my fatest seed pod. frosty pink are like isabella only shorter and not as flat.
I have a nice time studying all these different pods and I am learning :) I know the citrus-formed of arborea, the insignis one and the pink equadoran one, but do you have a pic of your fattest one, Arlene, from Jean Pasco? I like to see it, you know. In the past I have tried to cross several of the Brugs available in Danish Garden Centers, but no fruits came out of it. Maybe they all came from the same mum brug :( I shall take great pleasure in the summer from crossing and cross-crossing all the lovely brugs cuttings I have received or traded by now. I will also be cross-cross-crossing them all.
Tonny, do you want some of these seeds when they ripen? It may be a while, they seem to take forever, or is it just because I'm so impatient for them to be ripe?
Tonny, i am going to take a pic tomorrow. you are welcome to my seeds too. i am not a big seed person, unless you just kind of throw them and they grow. hunting for yellow peduncles every day!! can't wait.
