I visited friends yesterday, and Irene showed me their laden 'Blackboy Peach' tree. The fruit was not quite ripe, and she was trying to beat the birds blemishing the fruit when they ripen more, shortly. So I sampled her stewed peaches which had a packet of jelly sprinkled over them when they were still hot - delishhhh. So I came home and just wiped the fluff from these lovely peaches, didn't peel them, halved them, and stewed them with water only. When cooked, I removed the stones, and sprinkled a packet of Blackberry Jelly over them. Delicious - so I 'share' with you! LOL

LOL I need to try this! What is a packet of jelly? You mean gelatin or a small thing of jelly to add sweetness? Like this?

No, not yi 'Smuckers'! That's a seedless jam... LOL

Here's a photo of what we have here that we just call jelly - you can get lots of different flavours - https://kiwikitchen.sg/product/greggs-jelly-crystals-raspberry-flavoured/

The contents are fine flavoured jelly crystals. Takes 2 minutes to make and leave to set - usually in the fridge. If you were handy I'd give you a packet to try!

LOL Sounds like Jello! So you add it to sweeten and thicken.

Your Jell-o sounds like it is similar to our jelly - just another brand! We added the jelly only because the peaches were stewed with water only. The Black Boys didn't need thickening... ENJOY!!
