Morning, everybody!
Well, we started school late again today. Foggy. When I went to my dad's last night, it was pretty bad, but then on the way back in the dark it was worse. I didn't know where I was half the time. I took a run for it when I turned off because I didn't know if anything was coming. My dad says that when there is a good thick fog, count on some kind of precipitation either in 3 days or 90 days. I'm going to put it on my calendar and see if it works.
The wind was just horrendous last night. It sounded like a hurricane. Then the fog moved back in. Really weird.
The snow really melted down last night. There is only about an inch left from the foot we had last week. In Iowa this morning, it was 60 degrees.
I need to butcher some of my ducks, but time is getting away from me. I have way too many drakes. There is even a little wild mallard walking around with them. There are a lot of wild Canadian geese on our pond socializing with our Canadians. DH just shot a coyote in the vicinity last week, so hopefully we won't lose too many this winter.
Well, gotta get to work. Keep smiling.
