Pond plant identification

I am cleaning out our pond and I am not sure what these plants are. They have roots but no rhizomes. Thanks.

I have this plant.I don't know the technical name for it. We call it march marigold because it gets yellow flowers. The deer love it and will eat it down to nubbins but it always comes back
