Howdy There

Vancouver, Canada

Came across this forum by chance while scouting out rarer Mullein hybrids (planning on adding them to my indoor garden).

I'm a Canadian west coast city "gardener," currently learning ALL the tricks for managing to keep plants alive and thriving with almost no window space and instead turning to extremely creative usage of saran wrap, tinfoil, tape, and grow lights. I just moved five weeks ago, and have had to restart completely from scratch for the first time (no supplies or my old babies).

As easy starters I currently have a Dracaena Fragrans Lindenii (Corn Plant), a Spathiphyllum Wallisii (Peace Lily), four transplanted citrus seedlings, and about eight late germinaters waiting for transplant, a row of herbs (common ones from basil, rosemary, thyme, etc. in varieties as streamlined for similar conditions as possible), a rescued Poinsettia that had been left to die after the holidays, and I have six Helianthus "Bambino" (Dwarf Sunflower variety) seeds I just set up to start germinating last night :-)

I really enjoy having plants around, and have always been lucky to have a green thumb! I admittedly never learned a lot foundation-wise, but because I really enjoy horticulture I've recently started doing more research and study to learn some of the basics I skipped over.

My hope is to one day have the money to own an open outdoor garden space of my own, as I just really love watching my plants sprout and grow as the time passes, and learning about their individual preferences and quirks as I bond with them.

Pictures of my current plants, not including the sunflowers! I plan to get a shelf so I can take advantage of my singular window as much as humanly possible.
