What birds show up at my Mealworm feeders.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I have started feeding mealworms again as the abnormal freezes we had this last winter killed most of the birds and plants around my area.
I do not get to go out and watch much as I am a caregiver for my DM but It has been great.
I expected the Tufted Titmouse( 2 families now raises broods, the fly in different directions so there are 2).
At least one pair each of Carolina Wrens, Carolina Chickadee and Cardinals,
What I did not expect was a female Orchard Oriole, A Great Crested Flycatcher, a Hairy Woodpecker(who collects more worms at one time the others take all day), some Yellow Rump Warblers(who also feed from the seed and suet feeds) and a Hermit Thrush( who feed worms on the ground and stayed for a few months.
I have not see Mockingbirds at the feeder, have only seen one in my yard.
Can not wait to see who else shows up.
These pictures where taken back when I had time to sit out there and take pictures.
Oh the wren would fly over and tell me when the bowl was empty (I was sitting only 4 feet from the bowl) once it landed on the upper edge of my laptop and one time I felt something on my pant leg, looked down and it was a wren climbing my leg. Wish I could set out there again.

Are you using the freeze dry meal worms or the live ones. If live, where do you
purchase your supply? thx

I use the live from Rainbow mealworms. (rainbowmealworms.net)
Price is good shipping is not cheap. I pay for 2 day shipping, had some problems with UPS and Fed Ex putting the package in the truck in the morning and driving around all day in the heat, lots of dead worms. Learned it is best to pay extra and have quick delivery.

The birds eat a lot, have almost finished 30,000 and just ordered another 20.000

Here are a few things I have learned about keeping them.
1 get some plastic shoe boxes, that a ice pick or something similar and a candle. Heat the metal and melt holes about inch a part below the rim.
2 buy some of the bran that they sell for bedding.
3 the boxes need to be placed in refrigerator, bottom shelf.
4 about once a week you need to take them out, slice a raw potatoe in thin slices. Count them and lay them on top of the bedding(need to know how many so you take all out after the worms feed on them to get moisture.
5 get something to sift out the bran before putting the worms out for the birds (place smooth side container in shade. Worm can crawl out, a couple of hanging feeders and one on ground, if you do not have a dog who eats them)

I have tried the dead ones but my birds are spoiled and will not touch them, unless they are in the block you put in suet feeders.

I get the hanging worm feeders from, duncraft.com, ones I set are the one with 2 orange square bowls.

Nice Northern Mockingbird and Carolina Wren photos!
Do you get any non-bird (vermin, Squirrels, etc.) visitors to your feeder?

I do not get many now sense I started feeding food with hot pepper on it. I do have one squirrel that likes hot and a dog that likes to eat the mealworms and bran. Have tried putting a little pepper on the food on the tray feeder. Get the food from Duncraft, worth the price as the food last a lot longer.

Not at the mealworms but had a Pileated woodpecker( hope that is spelled correct) on the dead tree. Plus 2 female Rufous hummingbirds, one left and the other came from different direction, love my salvia.
