Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning All,
Looks like corn prices might rally. I guess I need to stock up on my sheep and cow snacks. They are saying the Chinese "might" import quite a lot of it and drive our prices up. Nice for some stuggling American Farmers.
We sold a couple of calves this week. The money is burning a hole in my pocket so off to the market to replace them with heifers. After figuring what we paid for them and feed costs I know I really didn't make much profit, but oh well. I don't know what we'll find today, or if the prices will be back up or not.
It is going to be an absolutely beautiful day here today. I really need to fit in some time to work on a stock tank that we had electricity run to the other day. Maybe I won't have to break so much ice this year.
and then a party for my work tonight. do I have a nice outfit to wear? hmmmmm.... looks like some shopping in store for me today ---- eyuk.
Good Farming,
Kathy Jo
