Yes, I thought it was so odd too! I am amazed at all the native orchids Australia has. None are like what orchids in the US are like. Plus most are so tiny, smaller than a dime.

I'm especially fond of, and collect, species miniatures (mostly Asian and the Americas). However, Australian species diversity is nonpariel. Great pics all around. Thanks.
