Brug fragrances

(Zone 6a)

Was just wondering which brugs are the most fragrant....and specifically, Candida double white, species, butterfly, HG, insignis pink, frosty pink, Jessie Noel, jamacia yellow, and solid gold.

Owen

Owen,
Jessie Noel is a very strong sented flower...Frosty pink is nice too....Jamican yellow is ok...that a very hard question to answer....I like them all.

Suaveolens blanc is incredibly fragrant. Two large plants over power 250 roses in the evening on my patio. I'm not kidding.

Jessie Noel?? what color is it? And Suaveolens Blanc color?

Aurea in its wild form is my favorite fragrance no. one. Aurea is also my one and all no. one brug :)

Redrose,
Jessie Noel is a goldish color with some pinks in it....it is a Whiskers x Charles G.X Charles G. Hybrid. S. Blanc is white.

Owen,
Whiskers is blooming in my greenhouse right now and the smell is just super....I have been out to the greenhouse twice tonight just to smell Whiskers.

Thank you Glory~

Wow. I`m looking forward to smell my whiskers too next summer. I got it soo also with the aurea wild form. I just couldn`t get enough of its smell. Its the good thing about brugs - their smell and the huuuuge flowers.

LOL!!! sorry Tonny, I just got this imagine in my head that you could smell your whiskers if you just didn't shave every day, and you hold your nose just right!!!!!!! LOL, I've either had way to much coffee or need more:)

allways need more coffee tiG

tig..that was funny.

tiG - You are so funny. Feel free and take one more cup of coffe *lol* Now I need one. Just baked Lene some pancakes and ate too much. If I had whiskers I would sure not stuuf them with pancakes I can assure ... so I rater would use my brugflowers as hats ... and call my brug-garden a hatfield. How are your gardenhats?

Butterfly is my new favorite for fragrance, although I must confess Noel has not bloomed for me yet. Frosty pink is my least favorite for fragrance. Versicolor alba is not bad for fragrance either though, albeit the color leaves little to be desired. Still, alba is one I have grown in the past for its great fragrance. Alba sets seed very easily as well.
