Had a pair nest close to the house last summer. They were on their first nest but eggs didn't get to hatch because lawnmower destroyed them. The same thing happened on their next nest too. They came back to about the same place this year but don't think they are going to nest here this year although they stayed a little while. I like to study these birds. They are the only bird that can start flying while siting on the ground. They fly 55 mph in full flight.
