Home Depot in Hayward, Kell. First and last I see of them was this spring. Holding its color pretty well for being in full sun. Their pot is inside the much larger pot of a 4' Plumeria Celadine.
Not a fast grower,but not slow.

I used to luck out at HD too sometimes. My best score was 3 Agave attenuata Variagata. I almost died when I spied them! LOL Huge too in at least 5 gal pots. Very variegated. The name on the pots were for some evergreen so I think their being there was a mistake. Plus they were for $40. LOL

Any plant that has tri color or candy cane in the name? Catches me. I have Stromanthe tri color,Draceanea marginata tri color. Even a crown of thorns that's tri color. A few others on the line- my small variegated Poinsettia is close to the tri color- green,yellow and in direct sun you can make out a hint of orange.
I dont have any world record size plants..I settle for variety and getting them healthy looking.
Tropicals in the bay area can do well,or do well for a few years before some freak cold gets them.
I had Croton Mammy- tri color going Kell outdoors for 2 and and half years..really grew well,I had to pot it up to a 5 gallon even..then last winters wet and end of Decembers deep cold got them. Did fine during the drought years

I am like that too! LOL Love anything variegated. And with colors! Special! I have never seen a variegated Poinsettia.
