Does anyone know a good supplier of bulbils for Dioscorea Japonica--Japanese yam? I have considered growing Chinese yam (Dioscorea Polystachya) but it sounds like an invasive little monster. I haven't heard that Japanese is invasive. My Google search didn't show that it was. BTW, I am gardening in North Alabama, and I am obsessed with root vegetables lately. I was happy to have grown Okinawan sweet potatoes last year! By the by, I also am interested in purple sweet potato varieties.
