Trial: Hose & Wick irrigation system for growing veges

I need your ideas on how to improve my hose & wick irrigation system for growing plants at home.

It must be low-tech, low budget and low pressure (water pressure). It must use hose (any old hose) to get water to grow-bags or buckets. And string wicks to get water to plant roots.

Tell me your ideas for improvement...
