Transplanting Gregg\'s Mist

Dallas, TX

Since I really need to thin it out, is there a way to transplant it? Can I root it in water? Or just stick it in the soil? Or perlite? Or just forget it?

You can plant it and keep it watered for a couple of weeks. Also provide shade from the intense heat. You know it spreads like crazy in places you didn't plant it, right? I started with one little start and now I have this.

I kinda think I got my start from you. Didn't remember if it was rooting in a styrofoam cup or what. So I can just transplant without having to let it root in water or whatever? Mine is taking over just like yours is. At the moment it's waging war with my Flame Acanthus, one of my milkweeds and poor Augusta Duelberg.

If you get enough roots, you can just transplant it where you want it.
