Sheila,
I couldn't spare the cash to join on the day of the plant sale but your club had that beautiful book free if I joined. is that still a perk if I joined online? i keep having to ask, and answer, native plant questions
Native plant society of Texas
Gypsi - I just read that Sheila doesn't belong to DG anymore. (See post about RU by Frostweed.) I don't know if anyone else has the book you're looking for.
well darn. I will just have to chase her down at NPSOT
Hello Gypsi, yes you still can get the book free if you sign up at our Chapter.
We are having a plant sale at the Randol Mill Pavilion on October the 8th.
You can come there and sign up and get the book at the sale.
I hope you can make it.
Josephine.
Hello Everyone, here is the link to the plant sale flyer for October the 8th.

I will put that on my calendar, thank you Josephine!
Oh, no. Just when I thought I had all the plants I could handle. Will put the sale on my calendar!
Is this at the pavilion where we have our RUs?
I sure hope someone has some good asters because I can never get seeds to start
Yes, it is at the pavilion where we have the R.U.s I hope you all can come.
I have an aquarium to service in the morning, probably get there about noon, need asters
Josephine, do some plants sell out right away? Like maybe by NPSOT members themselves? (Just checking because of timing.)
You never know, but it will be good to see you if you can make it,
In my experience, the earlier you can get there, the better!
I am going to have to tuck it in between a couple of events and stow my plants at my daughters for the 2nd one. But will do my best
Since there's been a mention of asters, I have a question about them. About how tall do they generally get?
About three feet if you don't trim them, they usually fall over if not trimmed early in the year.
Well, I spent my morning at the vet with a sick kitty rather than at the plant sale like I wanted. Kitty is on the road to recovery.
Sorry you couldn't make it Stephanie, Sheila did ask about you and we did get to see Gypsi and she got her asters.
I enjoyed it, brief though my stop had to be
