I have a question, please. Several years ago I lived in Olympia, and last month got to visit in Seattle and Bainbridge Island again for the first time in 20 years. Thrilled to see once more the incredible beauty of the Pacific Northwest, especially the mountain - but everything seemed very dry and I felt concerned. Has there been less rain this year?
No rain?
Dry and hot! And it was a bizarrely hot spring, I was using my air conditioner in April. This seems to be the new normal around here. Tomorrow is scheduled to be 90 degrees.
Oh, dear. I hope the heat doesn't last much longer, and that rain will come soon. Too beautiful to be dry!
