I saw these climbing up a tree at the Indiana Dunes near Lake Michigan (US). Anyone know what type of bug this is?
CLOSED: small, light yellow & black bugs
These appear to be nymphs of a lace bug (family Tingidae), possibly in the genus Gargaphia - see http://www.austinbug.com/tingidae.html and scroll to bottom of page.
Thank you so mych, flapdoodle! I'm reading all about these bugs now. Thank you so much!!
