Very nice! Did you grow the parent tree from a nut or seedling? I don't believe they are native to Poland but could be wrong.

Yes, I saw your previous question. I bought the nuts from an American shop and have sown them. All seeds have germinated but only 10-12 % has developed to young plants. The rest has died.
No, Castanea pumila is not native to Poland and it is very rare cultivated in this country (only in arboretums and botanical gardens, but even here very rarely)
